Although born in the US, I embrace my cultural heritage from India, and see myself as an ambassador for mutual respect and broader understanding between East and West. I have gained in intuition and wisdom from morning and evening meditation as taught by the East, and have learned about all things practical from the West!
I have over 25 years of results-driven experience in both public and private companies, and have achieved high team engagement and EBITDA growth through a combination of people, systems and financial acumen. I am a certified public accountant and hold an M.B.A. from the University of Texas in Arlington. I am an active member of Financial Executives International and serve on the Board for the non-profit Youth with Faces, which has been successful in reducing juvenile recidivism rates by 83% in Dallas. I am married to Michael McCormack and have three grown children, Bryce, Matthew and Rachel. In addition, I actively volunteer-teach and tutor mathematics and enjoy world history and literature.
