Pam Friedman is a Certified Financial Planner™ professional and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst®. Drawing on her extensive experience, spanning nearly 30 years in financial planning and investments, she co-founded Silicon Hills Wealth Management and founded Divorce Planning of Austin in 2013.
Pam believes women are more than just masters of multitasking – they’re increasingly multidimensional. Additionally, her firm, Silicon Hills Wealth Management, became the inaugural Empowerment Partner for Impact Austin, a nationally-recognized women’s collective giving organization committed to making an extraordinary impact in Central Texas.
Pam is author of “I Now Pronounce You Financially Fit,“ a unique book on marriage, divorce and the art of maintaining a healthy financial balance throughout. She also recently published an online course “The Financially Fit Divorce” teaching individuals what to expect during the divorce process as it relates to money in relationships. She has been featured in national publications and on- air with New York Times, NY Daily News, Elle Magazine, U.S. News and World Report, Self Magazine, Estate Planning Magazine, and ABC News Radio.
Pam holds an MBA from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin. Prior to starting her firms, Pam worked as an investment banker, specializing in middle-market lending and private equity in New York, served as Executive Director of High-Yield Bonds for an elite firm in London, and taught graduate-level investment management courses for several years at her alma mater.
