Anita Dodia is a VP of Engineering at HomeAway, part of the Expedia Group family of brands. Leading product strategy, technical design, delivery, and optimization to deliver a suite of products and services that will delight HomeAway’s customers. In addition to her core responsibilities, she is active in recruiting top talent and also manages HomeAway University, the company’s technical training boot camp for recent college hires.
Anita is passionate about diversity and inclusion, both at work and within her community. Her experiences growing up in a conservative community in Kenya helped fuel her passion for gender equality from an early age. She is the founder of HomeAway’s Women in Tech affinity group, one of the global company’s most robust and dynamic organizations. She enjoys getting to know people and building supportive relationships. With that ability, she has become a mentor to many of her colleagues, offering an ear to listen, and helping them navigate a course to their destination.
