Suzanne Wade joined H-E-B in 1997. She has held various positions to include Group Vice President of Advertising, Group Vice President of Advertising & Own Brand and is currently serving as President of H-E-B San Antonio Food and Drug Division. Prior to H-E-B, she spent 11 years at Wal-Mart.
Suzanne has an MBA from the University of Oklahoma and a BS in Business Administration from Oklahoma State University. She also attended the Harvard AMP Program.
While working at H-E-B she has been the recipient of the Fully Clingman Award, The Progressive Grocer Award, The Women’s Opportunity Week (WOW) Award, The Athena Award and the 2014 Trefoil Award.
Mrs. Wade currently serves as the Chair for Teach for America. She also serves as Chair for the Young Women’s Leadership Academy Foundation, & she is the past Chair of the Women’s Leadership Council (WLC) for the United Way of Bexar County.
In her spare time, Suzanne enjoys spending time in Rockport, Texas, reading, walking, working out, and spoiling her grandchildren.
