Monica Hamilton serves as Deputy Chief of Staff for Mayor Betsy Price and the City Council of Fort Worth, managing the areas of internal operations, public engagement, and special projects.
Prior to joining the City of Fort Worth, she served as an appointed staff member in the administration of three Tulsa, Oklahoma mayors. During her 10-year tenure in Tulsa, Monica created and implemented programs that enhanced transparency in government, customer service and neighborhood leadership. Additionally, she enacted initiatives that expanded reporting capabilities, increased staff productivity and established organizational performance measurements.
In her spare time, Monica facilitates workshop discussions and coaches individuals in matters of continuous improvement, community involvement, self-confidence and leadership through service.
Monica holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Family Studies and Gerontology from Southern Nazarene University.
