Angela Dampeer is the Associate Vice President of Human Resources and Chief Title IX Officer at Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth, Texas. In her current role, she is the administrator over diversity and inclusion, training and development, employee relations, benefits, compensation, talent management, human resources information systems and employment compliance.
Prior to coming to Fort Worth, Angela served as the Chief Human Resources Officer for College of the Mainland, located in Texas City, Texas. While at College of the Mainland, Angela served on the President’s Cabinet and the institution’s Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SASCOC) Recertification Committee. Additionally, Angela work as a Human Resources Business Partner at the Johnson Space Center for Jacobs Technology. She has more than 15 years of strategic human resources planning and experience working as both a consultant and an administrator.
Angela holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix, a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Southern Methodist University and is currently a doctoral student at Texas Tech University in the College of Education Higher Education Administration program. She is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources and is an alternative dispute resolution mediator. Recently, Angela served as president of the Texas Association of Community Colleges Human Resources Professionals.
