Pranika Uppal Sinha has been in training and development for over ten years and worked as an environmental engineer for five years before transitioning into the industry. She has consulted to various Fortune 500 companies and other organizations in the areas of diversity, leadership development, and change management.

Pranika worked in the healthcare industry at Memorial Hermann Healthcare System for over 5 years focusing on both HR and organizational development and training. Her areas of expertise include leadership development, design and facilitation of education and training at all levels, diversity, and work environment analysis. Most recently, Pranika joined Occidental Petroleum (Oxy,) as an internal consultant in the organization development department. Presently, her concentrations include consulting internally on leadership development, training, coaching, and team building needs while working strategically with business units to design & utilize training and development to increase retention & recruitment, support employee engagement, and strengthen leadership excellence.

Pranika holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Northwestern University in Environmental Engineering and an MBA from Rice University, Jones School of Business. Pranika is an active member of the Texas Diversity Council where she serves as President of the Gulf Coast Advisory Board. She volunteers for Rice University, India House Houston, and the Center for Asian Pacific American Women. Pranika received a DiversityFIRST™ award from the Texas Diversity Council in 2010 for her support of diversity and inclusion. Pranika resides in Houston, TX with her husband Samir and her daughters Revati and Anisa.
