As vice president of Business Partners & Talent Acquisition, Deidra oversees the recruiting, labor relations and generalist function for the more than 7,000 CenterPoint Energy employees throughout the company’s six-state service territory.
In addition to leading various HR functions throughout her career with CenterPoint Energy, which began in 1983 in Compensation, she has also served in operational capacities including Safety and Technical Training and regional gas operations. Deidra has worked for CNP in Shreveport, LA; Little Rock, AR; and transferred to the company’s headquarters in Houston in 2000.
A graduate from LeTourneau University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Deidra has served on the boards of the Women’s Commission of Bossier City, LA and the Advocates for Battered Women in Little Rock, AR. She currently serves on the Texas Diversity Council Board of Directors.
