Kim grew up in St. Louis, Mo., but moved to Fort Worth, Texas to earn her B.S. in journalism from TCU in December 1992. She earned an Accreditation in Public Relations from the Public Relations Society of America in 1999, was featured in the Fort Worth Business Press’ Who’s Who in Tarrant County from 2000-2002, and won a prestigious National PRSA Bronze Anvil Award in 2003.

After working at Stuart Bacon and Witherspoon, Kim joined the Balcom Agency in 2005. Here, she oversees client services with a sharp focus on research, strategy and results for clients like the Neeley School of Business at TCU and LifeGift, as well as marketing, advisory council meeting planning and facilitation, and culture and human systems development for PCCA. Kim earned her MBA in December 2014 from the TCU Neeley School of Business, where she graduated at the top of her class.

– Kim piled on more awards in the Neeley Executive MBA program, including Top Neeley Scholar, Outstanding Student (selected by the program faculty) and Outstanding Class Member (voted on by her classmates).

– Kim is a current member of the Fort Worth Chapter of PRSA, serving as its president in 2000, as well as a former member and chair of the Lena Pope Communications Committee.

– In college, Kim drove a trolley as an Anheuser-Busch tour guide.
