Virginia Rose serves as the Vice President and Chief HR Officer and Service Line Officer and Administrator of The Margot Perot Center for Women’s and Infants at Texas Health Presbyterian Dallas Hospital. Virginia heads up the organization’s business development efforts to include programmatic development opportunities and operational improvements supporting the functionality of key service lines while forging relationships with key stakeholders and community partners in an effort to ensure sustained organizational momentum and profitability with an ultimate outcome of improving the health of the people in the communities Texas Health Resources serves.

Rose was formerly with HCA, Inc. out of Nashville Tennessee from 1990 until the Spring of 2010 most recently serving as the Vice President and Strategic Development Officer and Chief Diversity Officer at Medical City Dallas Hospital, the flagship hospital for the system’s 166 hospital nationwide. In 2002, Virginia successfully opened the first and largest 24/7 Childcare Center in a hospital in the nation on the Medical City Campus.

Most recently, Virginia was recognized by the National Diversity Council as one of Texas’ Most Powerful and Influential Women and by the Dallas Business Journal for Women in Business Awards 2009 as a Change Maker for her significant contributions and achievements on the business front.

Rose holds an MBA from Dallas Baptist University . She has been invited to speak on topics such as successful workplace engagement, patient experience initiatives, diversity, leadership and strategy in several venues including the North Dallas Chamber, the Texas Diversity Council National Conference, Southern Methodist University Roundtable, Dallas North Chamber of Commerce, Texas Diversity Leadership Conference, the national HCA leadership conference, the Society for Healthcare Marketing and Strategy Development and The Gallup Organization. Virginia has also consulted for hospitals across the nation in the areas of leadership and employee engagement. Virginia was honored by WorkSource of Dallas County as a WorkSource Partner in 2003 and is proud that Medical City received the Dallas Women’s Covenant Leadership Award for women in leadership positions in 2003 and 2005, was named as the Best Place to Work in Dallas/Fort Worth in 2004, was named as the Most Family Friendly large company by Dallas Child in 2004 and received the Alfred P. Sloan Award for Workplace Flexibility in August of 2005 as well as the Champions in Health Award for Workplace Wellness for several years in a row. Medical City was designated a Hospital of Choice for 2008-2009 and one of the Top Ten Employers in Texas by Texas Monthly Magazine. This year, The Margot Perot Center for Women and Infants was named the Best Place to have a Baby by Child Magazine under Virginia’s leadership.

Virginia serves as a board member for the Texas Diversity Council, the North Dallas Chamber of Commerce, the Texas Institute for Surgery, Texas Health Women’s Specialty Surgery Center and Southwest Diagnostic Imaging Center.
