Leah Lin serves as VP-Tax, Treasury & Tax Counsel for Brinker International, one of the world’s leading casual dining restaurant companies. Brinker produces $2.9 billion in sales and owns, operates, or franchises more than 1,600 restaurants across 30 countries and 2 territories under the names Chili’s Grill & Bar and Maggiano’s Little Italy. Leah is responsible for strategic treasury, tax compliance, audits, tax accounting, research & planning, as well as tax litigations.

Prior to joining Brinker, Leah served as Tax Director for Fossil Group, Inc. and its affiliates ($4 billion gross revenue, operation in 150 countries) for almost 10 years, and Tax Director for CompUSA ($4.6 billion gross revenue, operation in North and South America) for 5 years. In these roles, she was responsible for compliance, tax accounting, research & planning, and controversies for income tax, property tax, sales & use tax and escheatment. In addition, she teamed up with Legal Department for leases and contracts review and negotiation. Leah gained her 8 years of public accounting experience through KPMG, BDO USA and Carpenter & Langford.

Leah received her Bachelor Degree in Professional Accounting, from Mississippi State University. She earned her Master Degree from University of Texas at Dallas, and then proceeded to earn her J.D. from Concord Law School. Leah is a Competent Toastmaster (CTM), TX CPA and CA licensed attorney.
