Michelle Riley-Brown is President of Texas Children’s Hospital The Woodlands. She leads the business planning, development, design and construction of the new Hospital which is slated to open in 2017.

She is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, where she attended Tulane University for her undergraduate degree and Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri for her master’s degree in Healthcare Administration.

Michelle joined the organization 15 years ago as an Administrative Fellow and has held various leadership roles within Texas Children’s Hospital over the past 14 years. She led the planning and development of Texas Children’s Hospital West Campus from 2008 to when the doors opened in 2010 and in 2012 she became President of Texas Children’s Hospital West Campus, the first community hospital for Texas Children’s.

Michelle is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) and received the prestigious Young Healthcare Executive Award from the Southeast Texas Chapter of ACHE in 2009. She served as the 2014 President/Chair of the ACHE SouthEast Texas Chapter. She also serves on various boards and committees in the Houston and Woodlands communities.
