C.J. is GameStop’s Vice President of HR – Emerging Businesses, leading all aspects of the Human Resources function for the company’s subsidiary and emerging divisions. The current subsidiary divisions include.
- Spring Mobile, the largest AT&T authorized retailer in the U.S. of AT&T’s post-paid services and wireless products, and pre-paid wireless services, devices and related accessories through Cricket branded stores
- Simply Mac, the largest reseller in North America of Apple’s full line of products and services
- ThinkGeek, the premier retailer for the global geek community featuring exclusive and unique video game and pop culture products
- Kongregate, a leading mobile and browser-based game developer and publisher
- Game Informer, the #1 print and digital video game magazine in the world.
- C.J. is responsible for ongoing consultative leadership services to these businesses as well as for all HR M&A activities related to the acquisition of new businesses and additional Spring Mobile dealerships.
In her previous role at GameStop, C.J. led the HR Operations team, including compensation, benefits, payroll, HR Information System? and HR administration. In her nine years at GameStop, C.J. has championed the evolution of the HR function into a strategic business unit that supports a dynamic and diverse customer demographic.
Before joining GameStop, C.J. served on the HR leadership teams for Payless ShoeSource and Bass Pro Shops. She also served as a board member for the Kansas Employer’s Coalition on Health and as board member and treasurer for the Dallas Network of Executive Women and the Dallas Executive Women’s Golf Association. She has a degree in accounting and business management.
C.J. loves to cook and spend time with friends and family, especially her two adorable grandsons.
