Christy McWhorter is the Vice President of Talent Management for FedEx Office, an operating company of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX). In this role, Ms. McWhorter oversees talent acquisition, leadership development, organization development, training design and delivery for sales, operations, corporate and international, as well as talent and performance management.

Ms. McWhorter is a strategic business leader who aligns human resource programs with business needs to ensure successful outcomes of business goals. She ensures that talent management programs take a holistic view of making a team member successful which includes recruiting, on boarding, developing, performance management and career development programs. Ms. McWhorter helps align the workforce skills and competencies that ultimately helps the company deliver on its mission.

Previously, Ms. McWhorter served as Director of Organization Development and oversaw all training design and organization development for FedEx Office. Under her leadership, her team successfully supported several major company initiatives, including the implementation of a company-wide talent management system which addressed succession planning, performance management and goals processes and modules for all 15,000 team members. In addition, her team implemented an online assessment tool to the application process that helped reduce turnover and improve employee engagement scores which ultimately helped improve quality and revenue metrics. She also led a strategic corporate initiative in her role to help transform team members skill sets to a more consultative sales focused approach.

During her eight years at FedEx Office, Ms. McWhorter also served in the HR department as Senior Manager of HRIS.

Prior to joining the company, she was in management consulting for Animato, Ernst and Young and Price Waterhouse Coopers.

Ms. McWhorter attended Baylor University and received a B.B.A in Qualitative Business Analysis, Information Systems and Human Resources. She received her M.B.A from St. Louis University and received a concentration in Business Statistics.
