Johnnie Davis is a retired Army veteran currently employed with JPMorgan Chase & Co. In his current role, Johnnie supports the Consumer and Community Banking recruiting teams for North America with a focus on sourcing veteran candidates for Human Resources and Business Analysis. In addition to his professional career, Johnnie serves as the Community Relations Officer of JPMC’s Veterans Resource Group’s Texas Chapter. He also volunteers as the Stake Executive Secretary for his church.
Prior to retiring from the Army, Johnnie served as an Area Manager leading a team of Career Counselors for the Army Reserve in the Greater Los Angeles area. Previously, he held a variety of positions in the US and Europe which included Senior Command Career Counselor, Recruiter, and Instructor. Johnnie retired from the Army after serving 25 years on Active Duty and 8 years in the Army Reserve. During his service he graduated from three Army Non-Commissioned Officer leadership courses, Army Recruiter School, Career Counseling School, and the Army’s Human Resources School. While on Active Duty, Johnnie earned a Master of Arts degree in Psychology and is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Psychology.
This year, Johnnie and his wife will celebrate 21 years of marriage. They have a blended and diverse family of five children who have enjoyed the blessings of representing the Military Child. As a legacy for his children, Johnnie has written a book published on Amazon titled “Li’ Johnnie: An Unauthorized Autobiography.”
