Yen Ling Tung (Ling) is the Regional Human Resource Manager for Walmart Neighborhood Markets. Her region covers Texas, Arizona and New Mexico.
Ling received her Master of Business Administration from Northern Arizona University and began her career with Walmart upon graduation. She has been with the company since 2009 and has experience working in Operations, Merchandising and Human Resource at Walmart. In her current role, she leads a team of Market HR Managers who support over 130 stores across the 3 states with the day-to-day HR operation which includes talent management, associate relations, driving the execution of HR policies and guidelines, talent development and promoting diversity awareness.
Ling is incredibly proud of the company she works for – having an opportunity to recruit, develop, and grow talent internally and externally has truly been a rewarding experience.
Ling was born and raised in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She came to the United States to pursue her education and career opportunity. Ling currently resides in Texas with her husband and their 1 year old son.
