For more than 10 years, Ms. Martinez has managed the Pape-Dawson Human Resources department whose responsibilities include the recruitment and retention of staff members, employee relations and policy development, coordination of internal training sessions, and administration of employee benefit plans and structure. Additionally, she provides advice and counsel to employees at each of Pape-Dawson’s five locations (San Antonio, Austin, Houston, Fort Worth, and Dallas) on a wide variety of employment topics, and she also serves as a liaison to key college and university career center directors.

Ms. Martinez received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus in management from the University of the Incarnate Word. She is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management, is an alumnus of the North San Antonio Chamber Leadership Lab, and has served as one of their Board of Directors.

Her previous experiences include hosting workshops on interviewing and career readiness for the Engineering Career Assistance Center – Cockrell School of Engineering at the University of Texas in Austin; developing global recruiting, onboarding, and training practice; and assisting in the development of a human resources consulting practice.
