Lorinda is a litigation attorney on the firm’s Healthcare, Life Sciences & Education team. She regularly represents healthcare clients in responding to government subpoenas, in False Claims Act (FCA) and Texas Medicaid Fraud Prevention Act (TMFPA) litigation, as well as in medical malpractice cases. She also represents healthcare clients in business disputes, including those involving breach of contract, indemnity issues and breach of fiduciary duty. Additionally, she has experience representing physicians before the Texas Medical Board.
Lorinda also represents nonhealthcare clients in complex litigation, personal injury litigation and a variety of government licensing matters. She represents clients in state and federal court proceedings and trials.
Lorinda currently serves as the Office Managing Partner for Husch Blackwell’s Austin office. Before joining the firm, she practiced with Brown McCarroll.
