Terry is a Public Outreach Business Consultant for Workforce Solutions, Employer Service Division. His specialties include project management and public relations. He is a passionate certified workforce expert finding creative, comprehensive solutions to business related problems. Through development of B2B / B2C strategic relationships, Terry assists employers maintain a competitive edge in a global economy and help individuals build careers. Previous positions held with Workforces Solutions included roles as Field Business Consultant and Job Developer/Labor Market Professional.
Terry retired from the United States Air Force in 2003 after 26 years of honorable service. His military career encompassed various roles in Military Intelligence, Safety, Information Management and First Sergeant. Military assignments included the Far East, European Theater, Middle East, and Texas.
After leaving the military in 2003, he pursued various employment adventures as a Club Manager, Business partner for restaurant oil filtration services, Veterans Employment Representative for Wyoming Department of Workforce Services, and served on Alumni Board of Directors, National Veterans Training Institute administered by University of Colorado Denver.
Terry currently serves on various economic development councils, the Business Development Committee and Talent Attraction Work Group for Greater Houston Partnership, Board of Directors for Houston Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Texas Employer Support for Guard and Reserve Committee.
He also is a lifetime member of Veteran of Foreign Wars, American Legion, American Veterans, serves on the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo Committee, enjoys trailrides, and football.
