Dahlia partners with internal Becton Dickinson (BD) businesses, functions, and regions to identify and drive opportunities to improve and scale the service delivery capabilities of BD Global Services.Dahlia collaboratively works with leaders and associates in service centers in North America, Europe, Latin America and Asia Pacific. In her 7 years at BD, Dahlia has managedmultiple cross-functional projects, Information Technology (IT) solutions, Process Improvement initiatives and activities for the Office of Change Management, Quality, and Audit.
Dahlia promotes an Inclusion and Diversity culture through leadership, participating on a Corporate Diversity Action Team and co-sponsoring the North American Shared Services Center (NASSC) Associate Resource Group. Dahlia was recently recognized as one of the Top Latino Leaders by the Council for Latino Workplace Equity (CLWE) for creating and promoting a culture where Latino talent is supported and leveraged for organizational success.
Prior to BD, Dahlia held diverse leadership roles in various industries within manufacturing, banking, insurance and financial services sectors, and refining industries. Dahlia has 25 yrs. of experience in Finance, IT Business Liaison and Continuous Improvement and over 12 yrs. expertise in Shared Services.
Dahlia holds an MBA from Our Lady of the Lake University and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from The University of Incarnate Word. Dahlia is certified in Prosci Change Management and trained as a Six Sigma Green Belt.
In 2015, Dahlia was selected to Leadership San Antonio (LSA) Class 40. Dahlia also serves on the Board of Directors for the non-profit agency, Any Baby Can.
