Stacy Armijo is Executive Vice President for Pierpont Communications, a Texas-based public relations and marketing firm. In that role, she is responsible for the Central Texas region; leads marketing services across the firm; spearheads leadership & development for Pierpont employees; and provides direct client service. Stacy has been recognized for her work in her industry, including being named a Woman of Influence by the Austin Business Journal and winner of the Austin Under 40 Award for Marketing, PR and Advertising.

Outside the office, Stacy is an active community volunteer, including currently chairing the Austin Chamber of Commerce’s Growth Strategy Council and serving on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee. In addition, she is a Board Member of Communities in Schools of Central Texas and Secretary of the Board of Directors of the American Marketing Association, expected to serve as the organization’s Chairman in 2019. Previously, she has served as Chairman of the Board for the American Red Cross serving Central Texas; as a Fellow for both the Next Generation Project Texas by the Robert S. Strauss Center at UT Austin and the Austin Area Research Organization; and as a graduate of Leadership Austin’s Emerge and Essential programs.

Stacy is also a lecturer at the University of Texas at Austin, teaching Public Relations Strategies in the Stan Richards School of Advertising & Public Relations at the Moody College of Communications. She earned a bachelor’s degree in public relations from UT Austin and speaks regularly about public relations, marketing and leadership.
