Emily Fletty joined Direct Energy a year and a half ago as the Head of Talent & Development. She and her team also look after graduate development and diversity and inclusion efforts as well as the core Talent offering.
Prior to joining Direct Energy Emily spent 5 years with BP in various roles including Region Learning Director for the Eastern Hemisphere of BP Upstream. HR Director for Exploration Western Hemisphere and Talent Manager for Global Procurement and Supply Chain.
Prior to BP she worked for BG Group. Her last role there was Director of Talent where she was accountable for Talent Acquisition, Talent Management and non-technical L&D.
Emily grew up in Denver, CO and has lived in Tulsa, OK, Boulder, CO, Petersburg, VA, Miami, FL and Houston, TX. She graduated from the University of Colorado with an MS in Business Management with a minor in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. Her BS degree is in Human Resources and Management.
When not working Emily enjoys spending time with her husband, her two grown sons and her 13 year old daughter. They enjoy boating, reading, movies, travel and snuggling with their 3 dogs.
