Chelsie Kramer is the Business Development Specialist for Texas Competes where she is building relationships and educating the business community of the long-term value of having strong LGBT non-discrimination policies in the workplace. An inclusive Texas is one that can attract and retain the best companies and the best talent!
Chelsie is also the Executive Director for the Gulf Coast Region of the Texas Association of Business (which partners closely with Texas Competes) where she works to make certain the area membership is well-connected to the Austin office to ensure a strong pro-business tax, and regulatory climate in Texas.
Prior to joining TAB and Texas Competes, Chelsie served as a legislative aide for Former Senator Tommy Williams for 4 years where she worked on Health & Human Services, Higher Education, Open Government, and Veteran Affairs. Chelsie has also worked on multiple political campaigns during the interims, including 2 campaigns for statewide office in which she served as the Houston-area field director.
Chelsie attended Texas A&M University where she studied Political Science. She and her husband reside in The Woodlands, Texas.
