LGBT Best Practices in the Workplace…The Conversation Continues

This workshop provides participants with an introduction to the terminology, developmental process, and certain cultural aspects of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community. The session will also focus on sharing best practices and ideas on how to successfully introduce and integrate this community into your workplace. In addition, the workshop discussion will continue and broaden the conversation regarding best practices in the workplace.

It also aims to help bring awareness of LGBT issues in the workplace that can be successfully managed to create an environment and workplace of inclusion to all.

The purpose of this presentation is to provide insight into the defining differences between the 5 generations: Traditionalist, Baby Boomers, Generation X, Millennials/Generation Y, and Generation Z. Understanding the commonalities between the generations and their work styles affords HR professionals and employers the opportunity to develop specificmulti-generational management strategies.
