Sandi Mitchell is President and CEO of APEX Leadership Coaching, a firm dedicated to both people and profitability through intentional emphasis on emotionally intelligent leadership for extraordinary leaders. Her passion is working with high-achieving leaders who want to transition from leading followers to leading leaders.

Sandi works with leaders from major corporations, small businesses, and nonprofits to help improve and/or accelerate in areas such as: leadership presence, team alignment, strategic planning, negotiations, and employee engagement. Her approach utilizes hands-on experiential learning, resulting in the highest impact and results through sustainable, long-term productivity improvements.

Sandi uses the APEX Leadership System™ – Awareness. Performance. Excellence. Xtraordinary. Leadership. She also specializes in emotionally intelligent negotiations through her EQ Negotiation™ program. Sandi is an international speaker who connects to audiences, inspiring and motivating to reach even higher.

Her experience and skills comes from over 30 years working in the corporate world, as a business owner, and as a certified Executive Coach. Sandi is an Associate Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation, a Certified Professional Coach with the Institute of Professional Excellence in Coaching, and a certified EQ-i 2.0, EQ-i 360, and DiSC facilitator. She is a featured author in The Change book series.

Previous to starting APEX Leadership Coaching, Sandi was the Dean of Tech Learning Institute, a corporate university she created in the Technology department at Sabre Holdings, training over 4200 employees in more than 46 countries. There Sandi focused on the communication, emotional intelligence, alignment in virtual teams, leadership development, and coaching of the Technology leaders and their teams.

Sandi has an MBA from Texas Wesleyan University and an Advertising degree from the University of North Texas.
